Za la mort, and his companion Za la vie, enforce rules of honourable conduct in the underworld, even when parties of wealthy (and vulnerable) citizens in search of exotic entertainment happen to visit the shady places preferred by thieves of all kinds. The couple constitutes the major obstacle to the evil schemes of a secluded, masked character, who is intent on carrying out his criminal activities on a grand scale. Helped by a mysterious Chinese and a cunning vamp, he carefully lays a trap to eliminate the annoying Zas.
