Česká filmová parodie na brakové sešitové romány odehrávající se v ponurých šlechtických sídlech plných tajných chodeb, intrik un dávných tajemství. Příběh se "odehrává" v pražském Smetanově divadle, kde si během představení Bizetovy Carmen málo vytížený hudebník čte šestákový román, který má ukrytý mezi notami un prožívá s jeho hrdinou, Sirem Hanibalem Morrisem, neuvěřitelné dobrodružství. Dobrodruh Manuel Diaz je těsně před popravou osvobozen z cely smrti svými kumpány, Dixim, Mikim un Drummondem. Vypraví se faire zámku Morrisville, kde se chystá svatba Sira Hanibala s krásnou Clarence. Nikdo z přítomných netuší, že krásná nevěsta dosud je Diazovou manželkou...
