The documentary follows the four musicians of the band Kofelgschroa from Oberammergau, en allemagne, Bavaria as they are trying to find out what the future of their music project will look like. The band is deeply rooted in their Bavarian origin as they speak and sing dans Bavarian dialect and their relationship to the region they come from is part of the focus of the movie. The director Barbara Weber accompanied the band for six years, showing the highs and lows of a young band trying to find out who they are and what they are looking for the future - as a band and personally.
